Original party dance singer and writer Dene Michael joined Black Lace in 1985 and toured all around the world with the band for many years.
He retired from the band last year and is now performing all over Europe as a solo artist. He also starred in the film Rita, Sue and Bob too, singing, “Were Having a Gang Bang”.
He’s appeared on TV many times over the years including Top of the Pops, The Voice UK, This Morning, CBBC with his puppet and many more. He’s also appearing in cinemas and TV next year in the film ‘still pushing pineapples’.
We are super excited to have Dene Michael at Fleetwood Community Comic Con. He’ll be signing autographs, having pictures and giving us all a song or two.

Phil Fletcher Puppeteer/Puppet Builder and the voice of Hacker has been entertaining millions with his quick wit and cheeky humor and now, it’s your chance to meet both of them in person 🎭
Phil will be signing autographs, posing for photos with Hacker (small charge applies). They will also be selling merchandise and sharing behind-the-scenes stories about life as one of the UK’s most beloved puppeteers 📸

An award-winning actor, scriptwriter and TV host of Creatives on the Couch (shown on SKY TV in the UK and Australia), Reece is known for his work in horror films, West End theatre, pantomime and stage hosting across the UK ⭐
He recently starred in the horror film Boarhog and has won Best Actor at the LA Basement Horror Awards. He’s also performed in Blood Brothers, Oliver and Sing-A-Long-A Sound of Music 🎭
Recognised for raising over £2.5 million for charity, Reece was awarded the prestigious British Citizen Award for Services to Entertainment and Charity 👑
With his wealth of experience hosting on TV and stage, we’re thrilled to announce that Reece will be joining us as the host for several of our guest Q&A sessions ❤️

We’re thrilled to reveal young talented local actor Reuben Kirby will be one of our special guests at Fleetwood Community Comic Con 🐟
Reuben was one of the voice stars alongside Hannah Waddingham and Rob Brydon in the animated BBC special “Tiddler” which was adapted from the beloved picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler 🌟
For those who don’t know, Tiddler tells the story of a little fish with a BIG imagination who keeps his underwater classmates entertained with tall tales… until one day he gets lost and ends up saved by the power of his own storytelling. 💭
If you haven’t seen it yet, Tiddler is still available on BBC iPlayer. It’s a must-watch for fans of magical storytelling and beautiful animation 📺
